Chennai: Two men killed a co-worker in a drunken brawl at Madhavaram last night. Police have arrested the duo. According to the police, the victim Sukku alias Govindaraj (52), a resident of Sharma Nagar, worked as a labourer at Madhavaram Truck Terminal. Yesterday, after work, he stayed back at his work place with his colleagues Anbazhagan (45) and Suresh (48).
The trio were drinking liquor when an argument broke out. The duo smashed Govindarajs head with a stone. Later, they fled the spot. A patrol police team spotted the duo moving in a suspicious manner and questioned them. They were taken into custody as they gave contradicting replies, where the truth came out.
