After a good show on Pariyerum Perumal, Kathir has emerged a popular actor in Kollywood. He is now part of Vijay’s upcoming film being directed by Atlee.
Meanwhile, Kathir’s next titled Sathru is ready for release. It would be out 1 March. Srushti Dange is paired opposite him.
Sathru is an action thriller which will see Kathir as a police officer for the first time in his career. The entire story takes place within 24 hours and will have a mix of action and romance.
The plot revolves around a fearless cop who brings to justice five hardened criminals who are in hiding. Laghubaran, who played the hero in Raattinam, will be seen as the antagonist in this film, which is written and directed by Naveen Nanjundaan.
Music for the film is by Amrish while the cinematography is by Mahesh Muthuswamy. The film will be released by Dilli Babu.
