Motorists are indeed taken for a ride at Puzhuthivakkam Main Road.
The road has been dug up deep and wide for a major storm water drain project at the spot.
While they lauded the move, the snail paced work has turned out to be an aspect to worry about.
A pedestrian Anandhan, said, “This is the condition here for the last three months. During peak hours,Ā this road gets choked leading to motorists lingering on their vehicles till the edge of the road for a long time.Ā One small mistake might land them inside the pit. Also, the mud mound unearthed from theĀ pit has shrunk the road width leading to chaos. Officials need to complete the work soon.”
