Chennai: “We have forged an alliance with the BJP in the interest of the people of Tamilnadu,” said Chief Minister and AIADMK co-cordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami today.
Addressing reporters after inaugurating a slew of welfare measures in Salem, Palaniswami said, “Talks are still on with the DMDK to forge a strong coalition. We are confident of a huge victory in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.”
He added, “Our government has successfully completed two years. We will continue to serve the people following in the footsteps of Jayalalithaa.”
“We will identify the seats from where AIADMK would contest once the alliance is finalised,” he added.
