Chennai:Ā Anna University Vice-Chancellor, M K Surappa, has reportedly resigned from the post of chairman of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and Tamilnadu Common Admissions for PG courses committees.
Sources said he has sent his resignation to State Higher Education Secretary Mangat Ram Sharma.
It is learnt that following the resignation of Surappa, Anna University might be relieved from the task of conducting the all-important annual engineering counselling. It is also said the TNEA committee was being reconstituted.
