Chennai: The BJP meeting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to participate in in Kanyakumari tomorrow has been cancelled.
According to reports, the Prime Minister will, however, go ahead and launch a new scheme in Kumari Vivekananda Polytechnic College in Kanyakumari.
But, the BJP cadres meeting, that was to take place on the college premises, has been cancelled, say reports.
The recent escalation of tension between India and Pakistan is the cause for the cancellation. Modi is reportedly involved in finding a way out what with an IAF pilot being captured by the Pakistan army.
