“Natpe Thunai will be one the best entertainer from our production venture,” says filmmaker-producer Sundar C.
Starring Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in the lead, the movie is directed by D Parthiban Desingu. Debutante Anagha plays the film’s leading lady.
Apparently, Natpe Thunai revolves around hockey and also focuses on friendship. Adhi plays a hockey player in the film.
Speaking at the trailer launch of the movie, Sundar C, said, “As a producer, I never wanted interfere on the script. I just had one request. I wanted songs to be good. Parthiban has done a wonderful job by showcasing the Pondicherry well.”
On his part, Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, said, “The movie will be a good treat for audience this summer. I owe everything to Sundar C. He brought the best out of me. Generally, a producer like him would prefer top league actors and technicians in his film. But when I told him that I want to do it with my friends, he gave an instant nod.”
“Writers Devesh and Srikanth got so many offers after Meesaya Murukku, but they sacrificed all of them for the sake of working in Natpe Thunai. Anaga has a very little portion in hockey, but she had to go through excruciating pain and challenges while preparing for this role.”
Speaking on the occasion, Parthiban Desingu, said, “I thank Sundar C and Aadhi for giving me an opportunity. Raised in Pondicherry, I was obviously inspired to set the twon as backdrop for the story. It wasn’t an easy job as there were lots of challenges. There was a situation when Aadhi got injured and suggested him for some alternatives, but he was stubborn and did everything himself.”
Among those who were present on the occasion include actors Harish Uthaman, Raj Mohan, RJ Vignesh, Eruma Saani Vijay, Pazhaya Joke Thangadurai among others.
