Chennai: Cases have been filed against MDMK general secretary Vaiko and 403 party members for protesting during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kanyakumari yesterday.
According to sources, cases have been filed under five sections against Vaiko and others for displaying black flags, balloons and raising slogans against the Prime Minister.
Yesterday, scores of his supporters were arrested after the BJP and MDMK volunteers clashed in Kavalkinaru area on the border of Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari.
