Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader B K Hariprasad yesterday stated that there was match fixing between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan on the Pulwama terror attack. His statement has sparked a major row.
Speaking to reporters, Hariprasad said, “There is a match fixing between Narendra Modi and Imran Khan, or else this Pulwama incident would not have taken place.” He further sated that when they can detect two kg beef from Akhlaq’s house and Kerala guest house, the government could not detect 350 kg of RDX on the national highway.
He was talking to media persons about the union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad’s attack on Congress president Rahul Gandhi on the stolen Rafale papers.
BJP state general secretary and MLC N Ravikumar slammed Hariprasad for his remarks and blamed Congress for terrorism in the country. “Where had he mortgaged his brain before making such a statement,” he asked.
On 14 February, a suicide bomber of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a bus in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, killing 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.
