Apart from flexing muscles and delivering mindblowing performances, Chiyaan Vikram has also impressed with his singing skills once in a while. He has done this once again for his next flick, Kadaram Kondan.
Kadaram Kondan by Thoonga Vanam director Rajesh M Selva will have Vikram lending his voice for a motivational number. Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films and Trident Arts, Ghibran is scoring the music for the film.
The music director tweeted a still from his studio of Vikram behind the microphone yesterday. His tweet said: “Yaaay! Positivism kicks in. I’m glad to have recording done with the great & multitalented #vikram sir for #KadaramKondan, singing with full energy +vibes +enthusiasm. I believe this as a #motivational song – can be played before starting our day. #vikramsingsforkadaramkondan”.
The last time the Vikram turned playback singer was for the Pudhu Metro Rail song in Saamy Square. Interestingly, Vikram had crooned all five songs for Kandhasamy (2008). But, his most famous number is of course O Podu from the 2002 superhit Gemini. Kadaram Kondan also has Akshara Haasan and Abi Haasan in pivotal roles. Praveen KL is taking care of edits and Kunal Rajan is in charge for the sound design. The film is likely to hit the screens in May.
