Hyderabad: Hyderabad MP and AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi yesterday said he was not here to make an image for himself and also not bothered about getting branded into an image by his opponents.
“In fact, many people who are well wishers of mine have also voiced their concern that you have been boxed into this image. For me, I am not here to make an image or to create an image of myself. It does not bother me how my opponents box me into which image or whatever they want to do. “End of the day, as long as my conscience is clear, I am trying to do the work which has been bestowed upon me. It’s a great honour to be a Member of Parliament,” Owaisi said.
Taking part in a event called ‘Talk with Asad’, the MP said he was happy with what god has given him and that he didnt have any great ambitions of becoming something. He was focused on fulfilling his responsibilities and that is why nothing bothers him when people box him into an image or class.
Owaisi has been critical of the BJP-led NDA government for the way it handled Kashmir and other issues. He asked Modi to answer questions instead of merely making speeches. he further added that whenever coalition governments were in power the country benefited.
