Nadhiya, the dream girl of the ’80s who has shared screen space with top actors like Rajinikanth will make her small screen debut next week in the Sun TV serial Roja. After her marriage when she was at the top of her career, Nadhiya reduced her film commitments to focus on family. After a two-decade break, she made her silver screen re-entry in M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi as hero Jayam Ravi’s mother. The film was a huge hit and Nadhiya was praised by one and all. After M Kumaran, Nadhiya started acting in many character roles.
Now, the talented actress is testing waters in small screen. The makers of Roja say Nadhiya will only be making a special appearance in the TV serial. Fans will only be seeing her in a few episodes but her character is expected to have a big impact on the story. In another development Sun TV recently decided to re-shuffle its programme line-up and Roja which is popular among the family audience will occupy the top 9 O clock primetime slot.
