IPL 2019: Kohli desperate for a win

After a big win against Rajasthan Royals last night, Sunrisers are eyeing to repeat their good run tomorrow as they take on scrappy Royal Challengers at their home ground tomorrow. With Warner and Vijay Shankar in good nick, the hosts are confident of a super show. With injured Kane Williamson back to captain the side, the hosts look a formidable side now.

The cause of concern for Sunrisers may be their bowling department. Every bowler including Rashid Khan was taken for runs. The worrying factor for them is the lean patch of the quickie Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. He leaked runs especially in the death bowling. He was whacked all around the park. Kane Williamson should be hoping for Rashid Khan and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar to come good.

Meanwhile, RCB came close to winning the other night against Mumbai. With AB going hammer and tongs, they almost crossed the line. RCB needed 7 runs off the final ball with Shivam Dube taking the strike. Much to the disappointment of the home crowd, the southpaw could not manage to hit the long ball as the hosts fell short by six runs.

However, as the players broke into celebrations and the customary handshakes were on, a TV replay showed Malinga clearly overstepping by a considerable margin to bowl the last ball of as S Ravi, who was administering the final over, failed to notice it.

RCB should have overcome the disappointment. All his focus would be on the match against Sunrisers. Wait for a nail-biting contest at Hyderabad.
