Actor-filmmaker SJ Surya has managed a casting coup of sorts by bringing Hindi cinema’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan to Kollywood to star in his next flick Uyarntha Manithan. The first looks posters were released yesterday.Uyarntha Manithan will mark Amitabh Bachchan’s Tamil film debut. Surya, who took to Twitter to share the first look pictures, wrote:

In the pictures shared by Surya, Bachchan is seen wearing a dhoti with a golden border, white shirt and a red gamcha around his neck. The mention of Rajinikanth and Murugadoss in his tweet got fans curious.Surya clarified it with a tweet: “Ha ha ha ….
