Nivedita, a women development and welfare organisation, celebrated International Women’s Day on 31 March at Bapalal Bhavan (Lions club), Thiruvanmiyur, at 4 pm, with the following themes – micro, small, medium enterprises development for entrepreneurs, and instill scientific values into the future generation, apart from art and culture.
The chief guests were Dr Srimathi Kesan, founder, CEO, Space Kidz India and G Shashank Sai, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar.
N Sivalingam, MSME, gave a brief speech regarding micro, small, medium enterprises for entrepreneurs.
Bank managers from various banks also attended the function as special invitees.
