Coimbatore: Tension prevailed near Pollachi after a BJP worker’s motorcycle was torched by unknown persons yesterday morning.
The motorcycle belonged to the BJP area secretary Shivakumar, who had parked the two-wheeler in front of his house late Sunday night after campaigning.
A complaint has been lodged with the police, and hunt for the miscreants are on.
