Actor Vijay Sethupathi has once again shown why people call him ‘Makkal Selvan’. The actor known as much for his fabulous performance onscreen as for benevolence off the screen, has gifted athletics champ Gomathi Marimuthu Rs 5 lakh.
Gomathi Marimuthu recently made our nation proud by winning the first Gold medal for India in the Asian Athletics Championship which was held in Doha, Qatar.
The actor handed over the cheque through his fan club as he was shooting in Rajapalayam and also talked to Gomathi over the phone.
VJS is currently busy shooting for his next, Laabam co-starring Shruthi Haasan and Yogi Babu in the prominent roles and is directed by SP Jhananathan.
