After a good outing as hero in Oru Kuppai Kathai, choreographer Dinesh will be playing the lead in a horror comedy titled Naayae Peyae.
Directed by Sakthivasan and bankrolled by editor Gopi Krishna, the movie went on floors with a traditional pooja Thursday.
Sakthivasan had earlier made The Real Salute, a short film that went on to win the National award. Speaking about the film, the director says, “It is about a youngster who does petty crime to enjoy with his friends. He decides to settle in life with a prized catch. He plans to kidnap a dog ends up bringing a ghost with him. What happens then forms the crux.”
A newcomer Aishwarya plays the heroine. The cast also includes Aadukalam Murugadoss, Shayaji Shinde, Rokesh and Krish. Music is by Rahunandhan and Niran Chander handles cinematography.
