Chennai: On the floor is exciting while dancing, but for commuters who wait for boarding their bus at Venkatapuram bus stop at KK Road, it is not a good experience.
“We have to stand until our bus arrives or sit on the floor. The seats are flat to the ground and we do not know how authorities expect us to sit there. This must be sorted out as soon as possible,” said Chandra, a commuter.
Other users stated that the shelter is old and needs to be replaced with a modern one, for safety cannot be compromised. They also noted that with a new shelter, officials should also lay new flooring for, at the moment, the platform does not pose a good look.
