Chennai: Remember Aajeedh Khalique. He was the winner of Super Singer 3, a musical show organised by a television channel a few years ago. A native of Trichy, Aajeth is a proud resident of the neighbourhood. He stays at Kambar Colony in Anna Nagar, Chennai.

“I love my area. It is an excellent place to live,” he says. Speaking to News Today, Aajeedh says, “It was a dream come true experience for me to win the title then. I had no hopes of getting selected for the show, when I went for auditions. To my surprise they chose me. They even trained me and ensured that I give my best.”

Never been to any music class, Aajeedh listens to songs and sings them in his own style. “I thank music-lovers and judges, who made sure that I win the title in 2012. The support and encouragement by the management in my school was outstanding,” he adds. “I gained a lot of knowledge about music during my days in the show,” says Aajeedh.

“When I entered class 10, I stopped taking part in shows and concerts. Thanks to the guidance of my teachers, I passed out in flying colours. A couple of years ago, I chose to settle down in Anna Nagar with a desire to become a successful musician,” he says.

Asked about his neighbourhood, he says, “It is the best place to live. We have all facilities and reaching any place in city from here is easy.” Aajeedh who has completed his higher secondary this year wants to achieve big in his favourite subject – Accountancy.

“As I pursue my higher studies, I will concentrate on making a career out of singing,” he says and adds, “I want to compose music and cut many albums. I am learning Classical music too. I am also interested in sound engineering. I want to do quality projects and make a name for myself in music industry.”
