Chennai: The nomination papers of A C Shanmugam and Kathir Anand were accepted by the Election Commission during scrutiny today. Their nominations were withheld earlier.
Sources said the Opposition parties questioned how A C Shanmugam not belonging to the AIADMK can contest from the two leaves symbol of the party. Kathir Anand’s nomination was withheld as an objection was raised by a person against his contesting.
