Chennai: Pixalive, a social network application with voice note feature, announces the seed funding of $5,00,000 it raised from sinvestors headed by MAS Sealing Systems (P) Ltd. in Chennai recently. It has also roped in actress and entrepreneur Pranitha Subhash as its brand ambassador.

Pixalive is the brainchild of Rajasekar Sundaresan, director and founder of Tripalive.me Technology Pvt. Ltd. Pixalive has a bulk of basic features like sharing data and propagating it through their contacts but also boasts of new user customized features like trending country, people, photo, video, voice, text and hashtag and nearby options which restricts a user from sharing data on geographical range basis and to a private group or public. The data posted will be automatically erased from the Pixalive application when timer is selected.

During the occasion, Rajasekar said, “I am overwhelmed by the response from Android users around the world after our official launch of the app eight months ago. So far more than three lakh downloads registered with more than 1,20,000 active users from 130 countries in Android platform alone, which is phenomenal. The fund raised will be utilized to extend the service to iOS users as well and to further develop special features in the application.”

“Pixalive will also be available in iOS platform in the next 2 months. I strongly believe that by 2022, Pixalive will be a true competitor to all the social media applications from other countries like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram,” he further added.
