Chennai: Director Vasanth’s Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengallum has been featured in several international film festivals. Much recently, the film was screened in the 28th Fukuoka International Film Festival and won the Best Film Award.
The movie stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli and Kaleseewari Srinivasan. The film is based on the short stories written by Ashokamitran, Aadhavan, and Jeya Mohan. Says Vasanth, “Sivaranjani and Two Other Women has won the Best Film Award at Fukuoka International Film Festival. It is a honour for us. I thank my cast and crew for all acclaim.”
