Chennai:Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) is organising an exclusive Bharat Darshan special tourist train ‘Ramayana Tour’ from Tirunelveli.

According to a press release, the Ramayana Yatra Special Tirunelveli via Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Chennai Central covering Chitrakut Dham, Buxar, Raghunathpur, Sitamarhi, Janakpuri (Nepal), Ayodhya – Nandigram, Allahabad, Shringaverpur- Nasik, Hampi will start from 5 March to 18 March. The package cost for the 14 days tour is Rs 15,990 per person, including GST.

The tourist train has the following features: train journey in sleeper class,accommodation in non AC hall/dharmashalas, non AC road transfers, South Indian vegetarian food, tour escort and security for each coach,
Central/State government employees can avail LTC for the above pilgrimage tours and IRCTC approved e ticketing agents can also book the above mentioned tour packages on pre approved commission basis.
