Simbu’s latest project, Maanadu helmed by director Venkat Prabhu started shooting today in Chennai. Venkat Prabhu had announced that he will be teaming up with STR for this political thriller in 2018. However later, the project got delayed due to misunderstanding between the actor and producer.
But now the duo joined hands to set the project on floors. The film also has S J Suryah, Bharathiraja and Kalyani Priyadarshan in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music for the film.
