Chennai: Nine more persons in Tamilnadu were tested positive for coronavirus, taking the toll to 38.
Three recently admitted patients who are tested positive do not have travel history. They however have contact history. The State is currently moving from Level 1 to Level 2.
In the city, there are nearly 19 cases, followed by Salem district with six cases and Erode with five cases.
There are three Covid-19 cases in Madurai.Official sources indicate that there is one case each in Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Thiruppur, Vellore and Trichy.
