Chennai: TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), part of the $8.5 bn TVS group, is said to have actively engaged with its customers to manage the movement of essential services and goods during this nationwide lockdown.
The company is currently operating from 65 locations across the country and has deployed over 1000 ‘Corona Warriors’ (employees and drivers engaged in the lockdown time) supporting the logistics activities.
According to a press note, the execution team is provided with ‘Corona Kavach’ – a protective PPE kit besides fully trained to maintain social distancing norms.
R Shankar, CEO, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, India, said, “During this critical lockdown period, we are proactively reaching out to organisations who are dealing with food, drug and other essential commodities to be able to meet their immediate logistics demands including transportation.”
