Chennai: Two more police personnel belonging to Nungambakkam station and four members of a family at Mandaveli have been reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.
According to sources, the entire police station family is closed and other police personnel are subjected to check up. As far as the Mandaveli family is concerned, it runs a grocery shop in the locality.
“The shop owner, his wife, son and daughter have been infected with coronavirus. They are quarantined and their contacts are being traced,” sources said.
Meanwhile, employee of a delivery company in Chennai has also been tested positive for coronavirus. Households to which he delivered food items in the past some days are being subjected to checkup, sources said.
