Chennai: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who wa not keeping well and admitted at a hospital in Mumbai, passed away this morning. He was 67.
The actor returned to India last September after undergoing treatment for cancer in the US for almost a year. In February, Kapoor was hospitalised twice due to his health issues.
Rishi Kapoor, who has been quite active on social media, hasn’t posted anything on his Twitter account since 2 April.
The actor recently announced his next project, a remake of Hollywood film The Intern, also featuring Deepika Padukone.
From Bobby to 102 Not Out, he swayed audience with his wonderful performance.
Before his death he played leading roles as the romantic lead in 92 films between 1973 and 2000, of which 36 were box office hits.
