Chennai: Tamilnadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan today said that strict action will be taken against the schools that indugle in the malpractice while awarding board exam marks for 10th standard students.
He said the decision was taken was taken after several complaints were received that private schools were tampering with the marks.
It may be noted that Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami recently announced cancellation of class 10 board exams, which were scheduled to start from 15 June.
He said marks for class 10 students will be awarded based on their performance in the previous exams and their attendance.
