Chennai: Film personalities including top stars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, fans and music-lovers today prayed for veteran singer S P Balasubrahmanyam’s speedy recovery.
The mass prayers were conducted for five minutes from 6 pm. People, who played SPB’s songs in their homes and other places, prayed for the singer’s recovery.
Actors, actresses, directors, musicians, FEFSI members, producers, theatre-owners, distributors besides billions of fans across the globe played SPB songs at 6 pm today at their respective places and prayed for his speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, SPB, who is suffering from Covid-19, continues to be critical and is on ventilator and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support (ECMO), a heart- lung assistance machine, the hospital treating him said.
