Chennai: Police have seized 15 tonnes of banned tobacco products valued at more than Rs two crore from a godown near Avadi on the outskirts of the city and arrested three people in this connection.
Acting on information, police raided the godown and seized the banned tobacco products. Police also seized two vehicles used to transport the products and sealed the godown.
Three people, including two North Indians were arrested and were being questioned.
