Dilip Kumar’s youngest brother Ehsan Khan dies after testing positive for coronavirus

Bengaluru: Ehsan Khan, youngest brother of veteran actor Dilip Kumar, has passed away on Wednesday night, Lilavati hospital said.

He tested positive for Covid-19 and had heart disease, hypertension and Alzheimer. He was undergoing treatment in the hospital, along with late brother Aslam Khan, since mid-August.

On 21 August, the thespian’s youngest brother Aslam Khan passed away at Lilavati Hospital. Eshan was about 90 years of age while Aslam Khan was a few years younger.

Dilip’s family friend Faisal Farooqui wrote on Twitter, “Dilip Saab’s youngest brother Ehsan Khan, passed away few hours ago. Earlier, youngest brother, Aslam had passed away. We are from God and to Him we return. Pls pray for them. Posted by @FAISALmouthshut on behalf of #DilipKumar.”

Lilavati Hospital’s Dr Jalil Parkar said, “He was covid positive. He had heart disease, hypertension and Alzheimer’s disease.”
