Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput talked about ‘feeling low’ and had consulted a psychiatrist way back in 2013, his sisters reportedly told Mumbai Police in their statements after his death.
Meanwhile, the family’s lawyer Vikas Singh said the sisters were pained by the negative campaign on the mental health of Sushant.
The lawyer alleged that the statements recorded by the Mumbai Police were in Marathi, were not read out to them and the sisters were forced to sign those statements.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested two people in connection with the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
The agency said on Wednesday that it has arrested Abdul Basit Parihar from Mumbai’s Bandra. “He had connection with Samuel Miranda. Miranda is accused of procuring drugs on instructions of Showik Chakraborty (the brother of prime accused and Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty),” NCB said.
The Enforcement Directorate, while investigating the case against Rhea Chakraborty in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, has reportedly found multiple chat groups where narcotic drugs were discussed.
