Chennai: A day after posters were stuck in a few parts of Madurai by fans of actor Vijay calling him ‘MGR’, State Minister and senior AIADMK leader D Jayakumar said no one can replace MGR.
Addressing presspersons here, Jayakumar, said, “Vijay will never be able to fill the shoes of MGR”.
Asked about BJP State unit president L Murugan’s recent remarks on BJP-AIADMK alliance for 2021 Assembly polls, he said, “Murugan cannot dictate terms to AIADMK”.
When queried about any changes within the AIADMK if V K Sasikala returns from Bengaluru prison, Jayakumar, said, “We are resolved within our party to ensure that she has no means to interfere in our party affairs”.
