PS Mithran, after Sivakarthikeyan starrer Hero, has started working on the pre-production of his third film which will feature actor Karthi in the lead role.
The film is touted to be an action entertainer and it was supposed to go on floors early this year. However, due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the production work came to a halt. Mithran film will have Yuvan Shankar Raja as the composer.
However, nothing has been finalised yet. An official announcement will be made next month. Karthi is also a part of Mani Ratnam’s much-anticipated film, Ponniyin Selvan. Major portions of the actor were shot in Thailand. He is also waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Sultan, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The film also marks the debut of Rashmika Mandanna in Tamil.
