Chennai: Tamilnadu Skill Development Corporation and Kauvery Hospital have launched the Tamilnadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Healthcare (TNASDCHC). Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami formally launched the centre Thursday, through a virtual inauguration function.
An MoU was signed in this regard last year between government of Tamilnadu and Kauvery Hospital to set up apex skill development centre for healthcare.
The centre is built with an aim to provide high end skill training in hospital and healthcare services sector,
According to a statement, this joint venture to upskill, reskill and cross skill healthcare professionals with competencies are current and relevant for the efficient and effective healthcare delivery.
The project is assisted by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
