Chennai: Officially announcing the launch of DMK’s election campaign for the 2021 Assembly polls, the party’s principal secretary K N Nehru today said that a rally titled ‘Vidiyalai Nokki Stalin’ will take place for 75 days starting 29 November.
He said that 15 senior leaders from the party will head the rally during which 1,500 campaigns are scheduled to be held.
Nehru said that the campaign will cover 15000 kms.
He said that DMK MP Kanimozhi will kickstart the campaign from Salem on 29 November.
DMK president MK Stalin will begin his campaigning in January.
It may be noted that the draft electoral roll for the upcoming Assembly elections was released recently.
