Chennai: Actor Dhanush is literally going places. He has joined the blockbuster cast of upcoming Netflix action thriller ‘The Gray Man’, to be directed by Russo Brothers of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and ‘Extraction’ fame.
The Gray Man features big names like Wagner Moura, Jessica Henwick, Julia Butters, Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana De Armas.
It marks Dhanush’s second international project. He has earlier played the protagonist in Ken Scott’s The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir in 2018.
The Gray Man will be the biggest-budget film in Netflix’s history on the feature side.
The streaming platform made the announcement of the new cast members on social media.
Dhanush tweeted the news this morning and thanked all his fans for their support.
The makers are reportedly planning to start the filming in January in Los Angeles while international locations are still being finalised. The role played by Dhanush is still under wraps.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dhanush is also set to make his Bollywood return with Atrangi Re co-starring with Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar.
He has his hands full in Tamil cinema including Jagamae Thanthiram, directed by Karthick Subbaraj, Karnan by Mari Selvaraj and a movie for Sun Pictures.
