Kanchipuram: Makkal Nedhi Maiam president Kamal Haasan today said it is imperative to fight unemployment in Tamilnadu. If voted to power, MNM will ensure financial assistance for housewives.
Addressing presspersons as part of his campaign in Kanchipuram for 2021 Assembly elections, Kamal, said, “Helping people to rise above the poverty line is not the solution. They may still continue facing challenges which will take them back to poverty.”
He said, “If MNM forms government we would give financial assistance to every housewife for decent living”.
Alleging that they were denied permission to do campaign at many places, Kamal Haasan said, “We believe in honesty and reach out to people for votes.”
Corruption is our biggest enemy and we will ensure zero tolerance for it. Schemes would be implemented to ensure no space for graft or corruption, he said.
