Nayanthara and Vignesh ShivN’s distribution venture Koozhangal (Pebbles ) won the prestigious Tiger Award at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam. Koozhangal is the first Tamil film to win this prestigious award.Directed by debutant Vinod Raj, Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the film. Both Vignesh ShivN and Nayanthara appreciated the entire team on this memorable moment.
Koozhangal is about the journey of an alcoholic father Ganapathy and his son Velu who are on their way to bring back their wife-mother, who has left the home. Through their eyes, we get an unflinching look at life in a drought-hit village in Madurai.
