Chennai: AMMK deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran, has revealed that actor Rajinikanth had called to enquire about his aunt and expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala’s well-being.
He said, ’The kind of grand welcome Sasikala received on her return to Tamilnadu, has heralded a new chapter in the State’s history. Even actor Rajinikanth had called to enquire about her health’.
On the AIADMK shunning her, Dhinakaran said, ‘Only she can convene a general body meeting of the party’,
‘She will be visiting Jayalalithaa’s memorial once it is re-opened’, he added.
On his own plans for the upcoming Assembly polls, he said, ‘I will contest in two constituencies this time. One is RK Nagar, and the other has not been decided’.
He however stated that his party is clear on not letting the DMK come to power.
