Chennai: Actor-politician Senthil and his wife have been tested positive for Covid-19. Both have been admitted to a private hospital in Kattankulathur.
Senthil, who joined BJP recently, also campaigned in recent Assembly elections for AIADMK alliance candidates.
Sources say that Senthil is stable and recovering well. He will be discharged in next two-three days.
Much recently many candidates and political leaders were tested positive for corona. DMK’s general secretary Duraimurugan is admitted to a private hospital with Covid.
Congress candidate from Srivilliputhur Madhavan Rao passed away recently. MNM candidates Ponraj and Santosh Babu and DMK’s MRK Panerselvam were also tested positive for corona.
