Chennai: Colourful posters stating that Jesus will bless Tamilnadu have cropped up all of a sudden at various parts of the State creating flutter.
It is said that these anonymous posters were found on the walls at many places and even outside a few temples.
People wondered who pasted all these posters. They also met with sharp criticisms in social media.
The posters read, “Tamilnadu will be blessed by Jesus Christ”. A few point out that prior permission should be obtained to put such posters or banners across the city from Chennai Corporation. Unfortunately nothing has been obtained in this case.
They expressed fear that such acts are aimed at creating divide in the society and challenging communal harmony.
Hindu activists questioned the motive behind sticking the bills on temple walls and wanted the police to take action against those who pasted such posters.
