New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today criticised the Union government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted the Centre’s strategy to manage the coronavirus pandemic comprises three stages.
The first stage, he said, is a ‘Tughlaqi Lockdown’. The former Congress president was referring to the nationwide lockdown imposed on 25 March of last year by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a bid to break the chain of transmission.
The second stage in the Centre’s strategy for Covid-19 is to ask people to ring bells, said Rahul.
He said the third stage of Centre’s strategy to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic is to ‘sing praises of the Lord’.
Only on Thursday, Rahul had mocked the PM Cares fund by saying that there is a shortage of hospital beds, ventilators and vaccines.
