Chennai: Karur Vysya Bank hsa donated Rs one crore to the Tamilnadu State Disaster Management Authority from its CSR funds.
B Ramesh Babu, Managing Director and CEO of KVB handed over a demand draft for Rs one crore to Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji.
The bank has also donated ten ambulances ā two for use in the plains and eight for use in hilly regions ā to the government of Tamilnadu at a cost of Rs 1.77 crore.
The bank said it has donated Rs 3.29 crore so far during the second wave of Covid-19 under Corporate Social Responsibility.
