Chennai: Kimberly–Clark Corporation has contributed $2.5 million (Rs 18 crore) to help the ongoing national efforts to combat the current Covid-19 surge.
These emergency relief funds, channelled through its partner UNICEF, will be immediately deployed for procurement of life-saving supplies and healthcare essentials especially oxygen concentrators, setting up of oxygen plants and other requirements.
The company will also support other local interventions, which are helping in Covid-19 relief efforts.
Furthermore, the company said it will continue to facilitate all other assistance to care centres in select areas wherever it has ground presence.
