BJP TN chief not sure about AIADMK alliance in civic polls

Chennai: Tamilnadu BJP president L Murugan has said a decision on alliance for the upcoming civic polls in the State will be decided by the party’s national leadership.

He said that the alliance will be forged based on the situation during the time of election.

It may be noted that BJP contested the Tamilnadu Assembly polls as part of the AIADMK alliance.

Meanwhile, Murugan also said that investigation will be carried out about the complaints raised by BJP cadres against the party’s former national secretary H Raja.

BJP cadres in Sivaganga district have threatened to resign from the party over alleged highhandedness and mismanagement by former national secretary Raja, who was also the party’s candidate for the Karaikudi seat in the recent Assembly elections.
