Chennai: Actor Rajinikanth returned to Chennai during the wee hours of today after spending a few weeks in the United States.
As the superstar came out of the Chennai airport, fans cheered for him with ‘Thalaiva’ chants.
Rajinikanth was seen wearing a blue shirt, black cap and a face mask as he walked towards his car. He waved to the fans who gathered at the airport entrance to see him and thanked them.
Rajinikanth went to the US for medical check-up. While in US, Rajinikanth was spotted exiting a medical facility with his eldest daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush.
After getting his health check-up done, Rajinikanth spent a few weeks in the US and met his fans there. Photos of Rajinikanth from the US went viral on social media.
On the work front, Rajinikanth is busy with ‘Annatthe’ directed by Siva.
