New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has hit out at the Narendra Modi government over rising fuel prices.
As the petrol and diesel prices continue to skyrocket across the country, Rahul Gandhi said that the ‘acche din (good days)’ are taking a toll on the country while the Prime Minister remains accountable only to his friends and not to the people of the country.
Inflation continues to grow. ‘Acche din’ is heavy on the country. Prime Minister`s accountability only towards his friends, the Congress leader said in a tweet in Hindi.
He tweeted with the hashtag #PNG #CNGPriceHike. His remarks came after the Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) recently announced a hike in prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in Delhi and neighbouring cities of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
